On the other hand, she is someone who loved her children and would do absolutely anything to protect them. As a result, Cersei is definitely not a one-dimensional sociopath like some people say. She is a badass who will fight you with mental warfare, instead of a sword.

Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys is definitely one of the most popular characters in the series. We saw her grow from a timid young girl to the ‘Mother of Dragons’. Since she was raised in exile, she is someone who never really had a place to call her home. Cersei is someone who seems calm and soft but is someone who you don’t want to mess with. She is someone who is ambitious and wants to bring people to justice. Daenerys proved to be a strong leader and someone who her people would die for.

Margaery Tyrell

Sansa Stark

She becomes a badass in her own right, who learns to play the Game of Thrones with the very best of them.

Yara/ Asha Greyjoy

Yara is another character who defies traditional gender norms. She was raised by her father, Balon Greyjoy, who treated her like his son and heir. She has a headstrong and wild personality, which gained her the respect of the Ironborn. Yara is a great leader and is someone who is beloved by her crew. Yara isn’t looked at as a woman but as one of the guys who they respect and would die for.

• For anybody confused, she is known as Asha Greyjoy in the books and Yara Greyjoy on the television show. She was renamed on the show because the producers felt that fans might get her confused with Osha.

Ygritte

The easiest way to describe Ygritte is wild due to her association with the free folk. She is definitely more complex of a character than just someone who is wild. Ygritte is a character who is brave and intelligent. She is also unconventional and has a mind of her own. As we saw throughout the series, she values freedom above all and doesn’t want to be placed inside of a box. She is definitely a badass character in her own right.
