Ser Barristan shared that Rhaegar loved signing to the people in the streets and didn’t like killing. This was not something that many people expected because Rheagar had an excellent reputation as a warrior.

This is said by Maester Aemon to Jon Snow during the episode. He is telling Jon to become the man that he was born to be.

Daenerys flies away on Drogon to close the episode. This came after The Sons of the Harpy started killing guards and surrounding Daenarys and her crew.

10) What is written on the cross before Jon Snow is stabbed by the Night’s Watch in Episode 10?

“Traitor” is written on the cross. This is because they felt that Jon had betrayed them. This left fans on a cliffhanger about the death of Jon. As we found out later, he didn’t really die but it was still a powerful scene.

Casting

• Several actors moved to the main cast for season 5. That includes Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen Baratheon), Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar), Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton), and Michiel Huisman (Daario Naharis). They were all previously listed as recurring guests before this season and upgraded to the main cast for this one.
• Season 5 did not feature Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark). This is the only season that Bran was not heavily featured. Kristian Nairn (Hodor) and Ellie Kendrick (Meera Reed) were also absent from this season.
• This season introduced the controversial ‘Sand Snakes’. They were portrayed by Rosabell Laurenti Sellers (Tyene Sand), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Obara Sand), and Jessica Henwick (Nymeria Sand).
